Trafford's quest to reach the final of the Manchester FA Premier Cup ended at Ashton United's Hurst Cross stadium this evening (Tuesday 6th February) as the home side defeated Karl Marginson's brave team 4-2.

The Red Robins are of course from the division above Trafford in the League, but the boys in yellow showed plenty of endeavour, spirit, strength, and they more than matched Ashton for skill & ability in a game that was evenly balanced at 2-2 up until the hosts scored two late goals.
