All Northern Premier League clubs are now required by law to use the new NHS Covid-19 App. This means that for all future Trafford home games, every person who comes into our stadium will be required to provide their details for NHS Track & Trace – this covers EVERYONE! Spectators, players, coaches, club officials, match officials, staff / volunteers……. Everyone aged 16 and above MUST provide their details. No details, no entry!
The easiest way of doing this is by downloading the NHS App on your mobile device. You can do this by visiting the following website:
https://covid19.nhs.uk/help-downloading.html
We will have a QR code on posters by the turnstiles. This is specific to Trafford FC. All you need to do is “zap” the code using your phone/device WITH THE APP OPEN and your details will be registered. You don’t need to do anything more than that. It’s a quick, simple and secure way for supporters and visitors to register that they’ve “checked in” to our stadium. It will help the NHS to identify and notify people who may have been exposed to the virus, and will help to avoid the reintroduction of further lockdown measures and the possible suspension of non-league football.
If you cannot take part in this, due to for example not having a suitable smartphone or other device, the Club is obliged to take your details manually. Again, no details, no entry!
In addition to the above, everyone in the stadium must continue to follow all the existing guidance and procedures to minimise the transmission of COVID-19. This includes maintaining a safe environment and following the social distancing guidelines that we have enforced at our previous home games. We thank you all for your support!
